  4. This is a monochrome picture from a 35 MM slide. The film was
  5. fujichrome 100 and the lens a 28/70 mm. zoom at the 28 mm
  6. setting.

  8. The camera was low down and close to the subject to give a
  9. dramatic result. It was also important to get as much as possible
  10. sharp, so a small aperture was chosen to get maximum depth of
  11. field.

  14. That meant a relatively low shutter speed, so the camera was
  15. supported on a monopod to help prevent shake.

  17. It is also important to get the correct exposure when using wide
  18. angle lenses. In this case, the car fills the frame, so there was
  19. no problem. However, in the case of a scene, the wide angle may
  20. include a lot of sky. The metering can then be fooled into under
  21. exposure due to the excess of bright sky.

  23. In such cases, a reading of the foreground is to be advised, then
  24. the use of manual, or exposure compensation for the exposure
  25. proper.
